The Char Dham Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage circuit in Uttarakhand, covering four holy temples: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath , and Badrinath . Each dham represents a powerful spiritual element — water, fire, earth, and air.

The yatra is expected to begin in early May 2025 , after temple doors officially open (based on Hindu calendar and Akshaya Tritiya). The best time to travel is May to mid-July or September to October .

Yes, but a mandatory health clearance is advised. Helicopter services from Phata/Guptkashi/Sirsi and pony/palki support are available for Kedarnath and Yamunotri treks for seniors.
Yamunotri involves a 6 km trek from Janki Chatti, and Kedarnath involves a 16 km trek from Gaurikund (or helicopter). Gangotri and Badrinath are directly motorable.
